One download: a zip containing the ContextHouse folder, 52 plain-text files (51 Markdown files and one illustrated handbook for your browser). Unzip it wherever your files live; a synced folder like Drive or OneDrive is perfect. Inside: the rules of the house, nine ready workflows, the worked example, the manual, and the AI instruction files in both standard conventions, so your assistant is briefed the moment it opens the folder. No app, no account, no installer.

Checkout hands you straight to your download page. Unzip, point your AI at the folder (the included tool guide shows how for each AI), and say “help me set this up”. That’s the whole path from purchase to a working system. Future fixes to this edition are free and land in the same download; re-download from your download page anytime (bookmark it). The purchase is one-time: no subscription to us, ever. The only running cost is your AI assistant’s own plan, roughly $20/month (as of August 2026), paid to the AI company, which you likely pay already if you use one. Nothing else: no per-seat fees, no premium tiers, no storage costs. Compare that against a stack of single-purpose subscriptions (notes app, task app, journal app, CRM) and this is usually the cheapest complete setup you can run: the AI you already pay for becomes the whole engine.

No. You write plain text; the AI does the rest. There is nothing to install beyond your AI tool and nothing to run. (If you choose Claude Code as your tool, typing claude in a terminal is the whole extent of the “coding”; the desktop apps skip even that.)

Four protections: it must show you a plan before batch edits, in the important folders it may only propose changes, your synced folder’s version history can roll anything back, and every file the sweep moves leaves its untouched original in Archive/Inbox_Originals/. In practice the rules make it boringly careful.

The straight version: this is a digital download, so at checkout you consent to immediate delivery, and with that consent the statutory 14-day withdrawal right ends once the download begins. That is the standard mechanic for digital goods under German law, spelled out under Withdrawal. What always remains is the statutory warranty: if the package is genuinely defective, write to support and I make it right: I’m the person who runs his company from this exact folder every day. Why €19.81? In 1981, Niklas Luhmann explained his second brain made of paper. This house is the homage. His wooden cabinet held roughly 90,000 linked paper notes, and the year he explained the method gives the price its digits; the short version is on the front page.
